• NY Woman Charged In Wethersfield Bank Fraud Case (patch.com) — Wethersfield police say a Bronx woman has been extradited from New York to face charges tied to a $3,500 fraudulent withdrawal at the M&T Bank on Silas Deane Highway in 2024. Detectives brought her from Rikers Island to Wethersfield, where she was charged with larceny, forgery, identity theft and criminal impersonation, and held on bond pending a New Britain court appearance.
