• Wethersfield Police Charge Enfield Man In 2025 Motel 6 Armed Robbery (patch.com) — Wethersfield residents are learning more about a violent 2025 Motel 6 robbery after police charged Francisco Perez of Enfield in connection with the armed holdup on Silas Deane Highway. Detectives say Perez and another masked suspect allegedly assaulted a clerk at gunpoint, stole cash and personal items, and fled in a stolen car; the second suspect has not been publicly identified.
   

• Video Shows Suspects In Racist Graffiti Spree In Wethersfield: Police (patch.com) — Wethersfield police are asking residents to help identify individuals seen in video connected to racist and offensive graffiti found at several locations around town, including Mill Woods Park. The vandalism occurred overnight Sept. 19–20 and targeted vehicles, fences, street signs, and other town property south of Maple Street. Anyone who recognizes the suspects is urged to contact detectives.
