Elderly Woman Robbed, Carjacked: Wethersfield Police

The suspect told the victim to take him home and when she refused, she was pushed out of the car, police said.

WETHERSFIELD, CT — Police are investing a robbery/carjacking incident where the suspect pushed the elderly female victim out of the car, police said.

At 2:07 p.m. Monday, police responded to 100 Executive Square on a reported robbery/carjacking.

The elderly female victim reported that a white/Hispanic man, about 6 feet tall, possibly in his 20s-30s, wearing black pants and a black hoodie entered her car as she attempted to park, police said.

The suspect entered her passenger door, took a seat and instructed the victim to take him home, police said. The victim refused, and the suspect stated that he was in possession of a firearm, police said, though a firearm was never displayed.

The suspect then pushed the victim out of the car, before fleeing, police said. The victim received medical attention at the scene, however, no injuries were claimed, police said.

The victim's vehicle, a 2011 Nissan Versa bearing CT-ZU2160 was entered as a stolen vehicle, police said.

At 9:10 p.m. Monday, the car was located in Hartford, police said. Police are investigating and anyone with information is asked to call Lt. Gustavo Rodriguez at 860-721-2872.
