Town Council Schedules Special Meeting to Discuss Asbestos Removal at Wethersfield High School

It is the lone agenda item.

WETHERSFIELD, CT - The Town Council has called a special meeting for Thursday to discuss asbestos remediation at the Wethersfield High School pool.

The meeting is slated for 7 p.m. in the town manager's conference room, 505 Silas Deane Highway.

The ceiling is "coated" with asbestos and the hazardous material will need to be removed before the pool can reopen, according to the meeting agenda.
