Wethersfield Police ID Fatal Crash Victims: Report
The accident happened on a busy stretch of road in Wethersfield last Saturday, Nov. 25.
WETHERSFIELD, CT — Local police have now identified the two people killed last Saturday in a two-vehicle, head-on crash in Wethersfield.
Citing the Wethersfield Police Department, WFSB Channel 3 reported Friday the victims were Middlebury resident Christina Demirs, 55, and Wethersfield resident Jerry Kapij, 76.
The accident was on the busy Silas Deane Highway in Wethersfield on Saturday.

According to police, the collision happened shortly after 2:30 p.m. near 1293 Silas Deane Highway and involved two cars.
Both drivers suffered serious injuries and were taken to the hospital, where they died, the WPD said.
