1-Day Literacy Conference Open to the Public!
1-Day Literacy Conference open to educators, practitioners, administrators, parents, students, and the general public!

This year’s Haskins Training Institute will be held on Friday March 11 on Yale University’s campus.
The topic; Literacy in At-Risk Communities: Our Challenges and Responsibilities is of special importance for a state where reading level discrepancies are especially high. Being involved in the growth, support, and education of children is one of the most important and undervalued jobs. We hope that these training institutes help communicate that you are not alone and there are people working towards the same goal on the research side of pedagogy. Each speaker will present research and methodology related to literacy and development in underfunded and lower-SES communities.
Our exciting line-up is as follows:

HTI was formed in 2011 to provide direct educational opportunities in the areas of language and literacy for educators, parents, scientists, clinicians, and students at all post-secondary levels. For decades, Haskins Laboratories has been at the forefront of scientific investigation in the areas of speech perception, speech production, and reading, as well as language disabilities, including speech-sound disorders and dyslexia. HTI serves to communicate this knowledge to the public through an array of seminars, small conferences, and intern and training positions.
We are offering group discounts! We are also able to provide a certificate of completion for any Professional Development needs.
