$14,500 Worth of Jewelry Reported Stolen: Wilton Police

The jewelry was reported stolen from a senior living facility on Danbury Road.

WILTON, CT — Three items of jewelry, worth a total of $14,540, were reported stolen from the Brookdale Wilton, a senior living facility at 96 Danbury Road, according to Wilton police.

The items were reportedly stolen from an 89-year-old resident at the facility, who police said has been diagnosed with dementia. What specific items were stolen was not disclosed.

The items are taken sometime between noon on Dec. 30 and 10:30 a.m. on Dec. 31, according to police.
