2023 Wilton Scarecrow Festival Teases 3 New Categories
The 2023 Wilton Scarecrow Festival will run from Oct. 13 to Oct.31, and will award 3 new categories of scarecrow this year.
WILTON, CT — The Wilton Chamber of Commerce in partnership with ASML and the Town of Wilton, The Wilton Historical Society, Department of Public Works, and Parks and Recreation is once again sponsoring the annual Scarecrow Festival.
The 2023 Wilton Scarecrow Festival will run from Oct. 13 to Oct.31, and any local organization, business or family may participate by creating a scarecrow which will be used to decorate Wilton Center in the weeks leading up to Halloween.
This year's festival will see three new categories:

- Most Creative Scarecrow
- Best Traditional Scarecrow
- Best "Wilton Themed" Scarecrow
Participation forms may be downloaded here.
Deadline for submission is Sept. 30, 2023, and the competition is limited to 50 participants.

Each winner will receive a $150 Chamber of Commerce gift certificate redeemable at over two dozen local Wilton retail stores, restaurants, and service provider. Winners will be contacted via email by October 25, 2023.
