$5.5K Shoplifting At Wilton CVS Leads To Arrest Of Incarcerated Man: Police

A man already in custody was served an arrest warrant in connection with a 2024 theft, police said.

WILTON, CT — A man who was already incarcerated was served an arrest warrant in connection with a shoplifting incident at a CVS in Wilton involving more than $5,500 in merchandise, according to police.

The incident occurred in September 2024 on Old Ridgefield Road, where police said a suspect took a large quantity of beauty products from the store.

According to police, the 45-year-old New York man was served the warrant on March 23 while he was at Stamford Superior Court on an unrelated matter.

He is accused of fourth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit fourth-degree larceny, police said.

He was held on a $50,000 bond and was scheduled to be arraigned the same day at Stamford Superior Court.
