On May 7th 200 men and women, ages 16 to 75, will play in a 72-hour continuous hockey game held at Winter Garden Ice Arena, 111 Prospect Ridge, Ridgefield, CT. Play For Purpose is hosting the event and will raise awareness and funds to help local families in need of financial assistance due to illnesses. Proceeds will also benefit numerous local and national charities such as Molly Ann Tango Memorial Foundation, Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital and the Fisher House of Connecticut.

The event is open to the public and admission is free. Opening ceremonies begin Thursday evening, May 7th at 7:00 pm and are followed by a Silent Auction and Cocktail Reception before the first puck drops at 9 pm. Play continues through Sunday, May 10 at 7 pm.
