Actor Joe Pantoliano Settles With Wilton Woman After 2020 Crash
"Sopranos" and "Matrix" actor Joe Pantoliano has reached a settlement in his lawsuit against a Wilton woman.

WILTON, CT — "Sopranos" and "Matrix" actor Joe Pantoliano has reached a settlement in his Superior Court lawsuit against a Wilton woman.
Pantoliano filed the suit after he was struck by a 2019 Porsche Cayenne, driven by Lynn Zimmermann, 54, of Wilton, in May 2020.
Pantoliano’s agent told Variety his client was walking near his home when Zimmerman's car came sliding down the asphalt, hitting the "Bad Boys" actor and knocking him to the ground while he was out walking with his family in his Wilton neighborhood.

The actor was taken to Norwalk hospital with a gash on his head and other injuries., according to police records. The suit claims the actor suffered an acute concussion, permanent hearing loss in his left ear, lumbar impairment, and now suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder as a result of the crash.
Police said that Zimmermann had tried to turn left onto Carriage Road from the northbound lane of Ridgefield Road when a 2005 Chevy Suburban, driven by Frantisek Kopta, 61, of Astoria, N.Y., slammed into the Porsche, vectoring it into the actor.

Court records indicate that Pantoliano had offered to settle the case previously for $1.65 million, but the final settlement figure has not been released.
