WILTON, CT — The town's annual Scarecrow Scavenger is underway.
Residents will be walking around Wilton town center staring down at their phones even more than they usually do, as they try to find all of the items listed on the scarecrows. The full roster of scavenge-able items can be found online here.
The scarecrows, all made by Wilton residents, businesses, and organizations, will be on display and ripe for tabulation from Oct. 14 through Oct. 31.

As always, the best part will be the prizes.
Once you've found all the items, which range from a yellow shark to a pink tiara, submit your completed scavenger list online. The prize drawing will be at the conclusion and all winners will be notified by email or phone. First three names drawn will win gift certificates to select Wilton businesses. Participants/winners do not need to be present at the drawing.
