Arts Council Hosts "The Generator" at The Aldrich
Ridgefield Arts Council Invites Artists/Creatives to the next installment of The Generator on January 25 at The Aldrich.

The Ridgefield Arts Council invites local artists and creative professionals to the next installment of “The Generator.” The networking event will feature three speakers discussing their respective artistic endeavors, and will be held at 7:30pm, Monday, January 25 at the Aldich Contemporary Art Museum.
Tracy Moore, Director of Public Programs and Audience Engagement at the Aldich Contemporary Art Museum will be the first of the evening’s speakers. Tracy provides the strategic leadership and management for the Museum’s programmatic vision and initiatives, grows Pre-K through adult audiences through community partnerships and opportunities for visitor engagement that create relevant and thought-provoking connections between the current societal and cultural landscape and the contemporary art on view.
Joanne Hudson, Founder and Festival Director of the Ridgefield Independent Film Festival, coming to Ridgefield May 20-22, 2016, will also speak. The Mission of RIFF is to make the world a more compassionate place through the sharing of stories from around the world through cinema, and to bring comfort and aid to the hardworking filmmaker who shares this vision.

Allison Stockel, Executive Director of The Ridgefield Playhouse, will wrap up the three presentations. Allison has been the driving force behind The Ridgefield Playhouse since its inception. Providing a broad range of entertainment from movies to Broadway, opera, jazz, as well as the best in rock and folk music the Playhouse has established Ridgefield as a go to destination for live entertainment.
Following the brief presentations, members of The Generator will be encouraged to mix and mingle with presenters and each other. Cost of attending The Generator is $5 for pre-registration (via meetup.com/The-Generator-Ridgefield-CT) or $10 at the door, which covers the cost of wine and light snacks.
