Back To Work Weather: Couple of Storm Chances This Week

The seven-day forecast also offers up some good news and a look into the upcoming weekends forecast.

It’s shaping up to be a terrific weather week once we get to Wednesday.

Before we get to Wednesday, we have to deal with some possible unsettled weather on Monday and Tuesday.

A “Hazardous Weather Outlook” has been issued for Hartford and Tolland counties for the possibility of a few strong to severe storms and some possibly damaging winds.

For the rest of the state, we may see some storms before noon on Monday and then its mostly sunny, but after midnight there is a chance for showers and thunderstorms.

The storm chance continues for all of Tuesday and the skies will be mostly cloudy with temps in the mids low to mid 80s. The chance for storms on Tuesday is 50 percent, the National Weather Service states.

Once we get past Tuesday the forecast from Wednesday is almost perfect. From Wednesday through Sunday, sunshine is predicted for each day with temps around 80 degrees on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

For the upcoming weekend, the temps will be a bit warmer in the low to mid 80s for Connecticut.
