Bleakley's body was found around 2:30 p.m. April 22 by a state trooper on patrol who located an unresponsive man in a car parked in Camp Mahackeno's parking lot, adjacent to the Merritt Parkway near exit 41.

The trooper notified the Connecticut State Police and the Westport Police Department. Upon arrival, police found a deceased white male in the vehicle. Westport Police Detectives responded to the scene to investigate the death.

The man was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for examination.

The body is the second one police have found at Camp Mahackeno since the beginning of the year. In January, a Wilton man was found dead in front of his vehicle with a handgun at his side. That incident was investigated as a suicide.
