Eleven members of the graduating guide dog class at Guiding Eyes for the Blind were treated to a special “spa day” this week, courtesy of Wilton CT-based Canine Company. The dogs will soon be off to their new homes with a person who is blind or visually impaired.

“Guiding Eyes for the Blind appreciates the support and services Canine Company provides for our guide dogs.” Says Guiding Eyes Vice President of Development, Linda Press “ We want to send our dogs into their new homes looking and feeling their best. Canine Company’s Mobile Spa and their team of professional gave each dog individual attention and grooming services to ready them for their important future.”

This is the second year Canine Company’s Mobile Spa visited at the Guiding Eyes campus in Yorktown to give doggy makeovers. The team of groomers gave each dog a shampoo and moisturizing treatment, nail trim, ear cleaning and more.
