Cannon Grange Fair 2015

The 83rd Annual Cannon Grange Fair opens Aug. 30. The fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Grange Hall located on 25 Cannon Road in Cannondale.

Admission to the fair is $2 or $1 with a canned good donated to the Wilton Food Pantry.

Rooted in Wilton’s rural past, the unique fair is a family-oriented event with events for the young and old. Highlights at the event include a wide range of contests from baking to quilting along with painting lambs (don’t worry wooden lambs) and the popular watermelon eating contest.

An auction of fruits, vegetables, flowers and baked goods will be held at 4:15 p.m. inside the hall.
