Celebrate Women's History Month with Author Talk Panel at Wilton Library March 1

Hear authors from Fall of Poppies - Stories of Love and the Great War as part of Women's History Month

Come to Wilton Library’s author talk panel for Fall of Poppies -- Stories of Love and the Great War, Tuesday, March 1, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. In this moving anthology set in the aftermath of World War I, nine authors, top voices in historical fiction, share stories of love, strength, and renewal as hope takes root in a fall of poppies. Six of the short story authors will be on the panel: Jessica Brockmole, Hazel Gaynor, Jennifer Robson, Heather Webb, Beatriz Williams and Lauren Willig; Evangeline Holland, Marci Jefferson, and Kate Kerrigan are included in the anthology. See the library’s registration link for more details. Q&A and book signing will follow the talk. There is no charge. Registration is highly recommended. Books will be available for purchase and signing courtesy of Elm Street Books. This program dovetails with the Wilton Historical Society/Wilton Library Scholarly Series on American during the Great War.
