Coronavirus CT: Here Are The Town-By-Town Case Numbers

After seeing a small spike earlier in the week, the number of Connecticut residents hospitalized with the coronavirus is back below 400.

CONNECTICUT — The small spike in coronavirus-related hospitalizations reported Tuesday by the state Department of Public Health was just about reversed in the latest set of numbers released, and the hospitalizations again dropped below 400.

The number of coronavirus patients in the hospital is now 390, a decline of 11 beds overnight.

The daily coronavirus positivity rate remained above three percent, however, dropping slightly from Tuesday's 3.56 to 3.07 percent overnight.

Another 512 cases of COVID-19 were reported, bringing the state total to 288,657.

The COVID-19 death toll in Connecticut is now 7,752, with an additional 13 deaths reported Tuesday.

On the coronavirus vaccine front, 883,688 people in Connecticut have gotten their first shot, or just under 25 percent of the state population. A little over 9 percent of the population have been fully inoculated.
