Coronavirus On The Rise In Wilton

Four new cases of COVID-19 were reported Tuesday.

WILTON — Coronavirus activity in Wilton continues to increase, and "a good number" of residents are in quarantine.

First Selectwoman Lynne Vanderslice sounded the warning in a post on the town's website Tuesday. Four new cases of COVID-19 were reported that day, bringing the total to 26 in the past four days, and 34 in the past eight.

"Daily positive rates and rapid increases in hospitalizations are warnings that we all need to return to the diligence practiced before the start of the summer," Vanderslice said.
