Coronavirus Wilton: Library Closed Until Further Notice

Children will be allowed to remain in the library building Wednesday until parents or designated caregivers pick them up.

WILTON, CT — Wilton Library has announced Wednesday afternoon it will be closed until further notice, effective immediately.

The announcement followed shortly on the heels of notification from the First Selectwoman's Office that Wilton Public Schools, the Comstock Community Center and Trackside Teen Center would also be shutting down.

"We have been notified that parents of one or more Wilton Public School students have had direct contact with a potentially presumptive positive COVID-19 patient," the notification from the Town read.

All sport and other activities involving Wilton public school students have also been suspended until further notice.
