An old favorite...


The decorative scrim is cropping up more and more to beautify construction sites, Alison Levasseur reports on architecturaldigest.com.

The 555-foot Washington Monument was covered with elaborate top-to-bottom scaffolding for more than 30 months until this past spring, during a $15 million project to repair damage from the 2011 earthquake, according to washingtonpost.com.
