Dennis Stapelfeldt, 55, Of Wilton

Dennis C. Stapelfeldt, age 55 of Wilton, died peacefully in his sleep at home on Saturday, January 20. He was the loving husband for 10 years of Lori Sindel. Dennis was born in Norwalk on June 15, 1962, the son of Christopher Stapelfeldt of WA and the late Ronna Pierce. He was also the beloved son-in-law of Carole and Fred Sindel of Wilton. Dennis attended Norwalk schools and had been working as a self-employed caretaker and property manager. He loved riding his Harley with his friends, family trips to Galway Lake in upstate NY, and his special time with Lori. He had a huge heart, dearly loved his family and friends and was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. He was also a NY Giants and NASCAR fan.

Dennis is also survived by his daughter Rainna Stapelfeldt of KY, his brother Brian Stapelfeldt of GA, several brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and his buddies at the Pastime Club.

Dennis’ family will receive friends at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk on Wednesday, January 24 from 5-8 PM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday at the Grace Community Church, 365 Lukes Wood Rd, New Canaan, CT at 9:30 AM.
