Dogs Attacked Miniature Horse in Wilton: Police

Wilton police say that two dogs got loose from a local residence and attacked a miniature horse in town.

WILTON, CT — Two dogs attacked a miniature horse in town Sunday, according to a report from the Wilton Police Department.

Officers were dispatched at around 2:30 p.m. after receiving a call about the attack.

Police say their investigation revealed that two dogs belonging to Brian Andronaco Sr., 58, of Kellogg Drive got loose from his property and were involved in the attack.

Andronaco was placed under arrest and charged with two counts of having a nuisance animal, two counts of owning a roaming dog, and one count of failure to comply with a restraining order. He was released after posting 10 percent of his $5,000 bond, and scheduled to appear before Stamford Superior Court on Dec. 30.
