Forgery, Found Necklace On Wilton Police Blotter

WILTON, CT — A foiled forgery attempt and a found necklace were at the top of the Wilton Police Department's blotter last week.

On Jan. 27, police responded to a call regarding a woman attempting to use a fraudulent driver's license to access another party's bank account at Webster Bank on Town Greens Road.

The police apprehended Trudi Reppi, 46, of West 45th Street in Manhattan at the bank, and charged her with third-degree forgery, third-degree identity theft and interfering with an officer.

Reppi's bond was set at $5,000, and she was scheduled to appear at Stamford Superior Count on Jan. 30.

Michael Norrholm, 31, of Smith Street in Norwalk, turned himself in to the Wilton Police Department on Jan. 26 on warrants for failing to appear in for two separate incidents. On Mar. 5, 2019, police say Norrholm failed to appear in Norwalk Superior Court for charges related to a Disorderly Conduct in Norwalk, and DUI charges in Wilton.

Norrholm was processed and released on a combined $26,000 bond and scheduled to appear in Stamford Superior Court on Feb. 9.

At around 2:49 on the afternoon of Jan. 28, police say Gabriella Rossi, 22, of Cherry Lane in Wilton, drove a 2015 Jeep Renegade off the right side of the road while traveling north on Hurlbutt Street.

The Jeep struck a decorative stone wall on the property of 218 Hurlbutt Street, sending rocks and boulders into the roadway, according to police.

Rossi complained of minor injuries and was taken to Norwalk Hospital by Wilton EMS to be further evaluated.

A gold colored necklace was turned into the Wilton Police Department Jan. 24. It was found in the area of Cheesespring Road and Deforest Lane in Wilton. The owner may claim the jewelry at the Wilton Police Department, 240 Danbury Road, 203-834-6260. Reference case #23-810.
