DUI & Other Motoring Misdeeds Top Wilton Police Blotter For Aug. 5-11

WILTON, CT — Two Norwalk motorists were cited by police in Wilton last week.

On Aug. 10, shortly after 7 a.m., a 2004 Toyota Camry traveling southbound on Ridgefield Road crossed the double yellow line, ran off the road, and into an embankment, coming to a stop in the northbound lane.

The driver, Manohar S. Lamaba, 64, of West Rocks, Norwalk, had difficulty negotiating the curve after the intersection with Keelers Ridge Road, according to police.

The motorist was issued an infraction for speeding, and a verbal warning for failure to keep right.

Wilton EMS took Lamaba to Norwalk Hospital where he was treated for minor injuries, according to police.
