Back to Dance with Master Class at Wilton Dance Studio

It's time to head back to school and dance this week, with a very special opportunity for student dancers. The Wilton Dance Studio is offering a Master Class with renowned ballet teacher Thomas Hanner-www.thomashanner.com on Wednesday August 29th for dancers ages 5 years and older. Taking a Master Class is a great opportunity to strengthen technique, and with Nutcracker Auditions just around the corner it's an ideal chance to brush up on skills and get excited for a new year in dance.

·         Ages 5-7: 4:30 - 5:30 pm - Cost: $22.50

·         Ages 8-12: 5:30 - 6:30 pm - Cost: $22.50

·         Ages 13+ 6:30 - 8:00 pm - Cost: $25.00

·         Pointe (must take 6:30 class as well): 8:00 - 8:30 pm - Cost: $5.00

Hanner has been teaching ballet for 27 years. Before teaching, he performed with San Francisco Ballet, Washington Ballet, Cincinnati Ballet and many others. He began his training in Hollywood, California with former members of Ballet Russe and Royal Ballet, and continued in New York City at the School of American Ballet with Stanley Williams. Hanner said, "Every dance student who stands in front of me is important. I want to build self esteem and confidence in every student."

The Wilton Dance Studio has been Fairfield County's one of the area's finest dance studios for more than 20 years. Director Brenda Froehlich proudly teaches students grace, poise and artistry. Their staff of highly qualified, talented instructors offers a wide range of classes for young children right through to adults in a friendly, safe and supportive environment.
