Farmer's Market Meets 'Home Preserving' Author

In addition to the bounty available at today's farmers market from 12-4 p.m.,  Sherri Brooks Vinton, author of "Put 'em Up!: A Comprehensive Home Preserving Guide for the Creative Cook, from Drying and Freezing to Canning and Pickling," will stop by to offer tips and demonstrations of the book's how-to's from 12 to 1:30 p.m.

All are welcome to enjoy Vinton's talk, which will take place at the market located in the back parking lot of or in the Brubeck Room in the event of rain. Books will be available for purchase and signing.  No registration is necessary.

Today's vendors include Ambler Farm, Wave Hill Breads, Schulze Family Farm, Nod Hill Soaps, Grassroots Granookies, Ola! Granola, Killam & Bassette Farmstead, Calcutta Kitchens and newcomer Ancestral Coffee.
