Between 1,000 and 1,500 motorcycles are expected to roll through Wilton on Sunday, Sept. 8 as part of the Annual CT United Ride.
WILTON, CT — Between 1,000 and 1,500 motorcycles are expected to roll through Wilton on Sunday, Sept. 8 as part of the 23rd Annual CT United Ride, the state's largest annual 9/11 tribute.
The annual motorcade is in support of that fateful day's first responders and their families, with a special tribute to Connecticut's own heroes lost in the line of duty.
In Wilton, the bikers will begin on Westport Road/Route 33 at the Westport town line and will continue toward Danbury Road/Route 7. Once the riders reach Danbury Road, all northbound traffic will be closed as the motorcade, led by the Connecticut State Police, makes its way into the Georgetown neighborhood of Wilton.
