Fireworks, Music, Races, On Tap For Wilton Labor Day Weekend

WILTON, CT — The weather on Saturday looks perfect for Wilton's Parks and Recreation Labor Day Weekend Celebration. Please remember to register/purchase in advance, as follows:
8:30 - 10:30 a.m. – Miracle Mile Track Race, WHS Track
The race occurs in one-mile intervals with 15 people racing per time slot. There will be 20-minute intervals starting at 8:30 am with the last run starting at 10:10 A.M. Race cost is $20 per adult and $10 per child (18 and under). Race fee includes a shirt that will be ready for pickup at the track on race day. Race registration is available via e-Trak.
5:00 – 9:00 p.m. – Live DJ and Fireworks at WHS Complex
Bring a blanket, chairs and a picnic and enjoy music by Dance to the Music DJ. A traditional 4th of July style fireworks show will kick off at sundown estimated to be at approximately 8:30 pm.
If concerned about sitting in the main seating area outside the Stadium, consider North Field, Cider Mill or Comstock as alternates.

Free parking is available to all first responders, healthcare and emergency workers. Please register for a free pass on e-Trak. All other residents may purchase priority parking passes for Route 7 Tennis Courts, Cider Mill School, Wilton Board of Education parking lot, and Lilly Way athletic fields. Passes are available for purchase on e-Trak and at the Wilton Parks and Recreation Department office, 180 School Road through Friday, September 3rd at a cost of $35 per vehicle. Passes will not be available for purchase on the day of the event. Vehicles without a valid parking pass will not be allowed to park in any of the priority parking lots even if space permits. Parking fees help offset the cost of the event.
Rain date for the fireworks is Monday, Sept. 6.
