First Grader Verbally Threatens to Shoot Son of Minister, Scratches Student with Plastic Fork: Report

A mother who works as a minister in Wilton is criticizing a Danbury school for not taking the incident seriously.

WILTON, CT — A Danbury mother, who is also a Wilton minister, said a classmate of her first-grade son threatened to bring a gun to school and shoot him, according to a report on The News Times.

The same student previously scratched her son with a plastic fork and now Candice Dolberry, who wants to other student separated from the class, is criticizing school administrators for taking the situation too lightly, the report said.

Dolberry is the Director of Children's and Family Ministry at Wilton Congregational Church, according to the report.
