Handbell Workshop: NOT for Ringers Only!

Join Music on the Hill for this fun fall musical challenge!

Not just for bell ringers, Music on the Hill's half-day Handbell Workshop is open to all who have some music-reading experience. That includes people who play (or have played) other instruments, singers, and those whose music skills are a little rusty. Student musicians welcome -- bell ringing is a fun way to practice and improve skills.

The workshop is divided into two tracks: one for beginning ringers new to handbells, and one for experienced ringers to build skills and practice advanced techniques. Music on the Hill artistic directors David H. Connell and Ellen Dickinson lead the sessions. Cost for the half-day is $40, which includes lunch.

The workshop runs on Saturday, October 7, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the WEPCO church complex in Wilton, 48 New Canaan Road. Advance registration required to ellen@musiconthehillCT.org or 203-529-3133. Space is limited: early registration recommended.
