Here's Where To Drop Off Your Hazardous Waste On Saturday

The next opportunity for Wilton residents to dispose of their household hazardous waste is Saturday, Apr. 15.

WILTON, CT — A multi-town hazardous materials drop-off event will be held Saturday, Apr. 15, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Danbury Public Works on 53 Newtown Road in Danbury.

The event is sponsored by the Housatonic Resources Recovery Authority, and residents from the following towns may participate: Bethel, Bridgewater, Brookfield, Danbury, Kent, New Fairfield, New Milford, Newtown, Redding, Ridgefield, Roxbury, Sherman, Warren, Washington, Weston and Wilton.

  • Paint Thinners & Strippers

  • Swimming Pool Chemicals
  • Pesticides, Herbicides, Insecticides (including Lawn Care Products)
  • Flea Powder

Those who attend the event are asked to have their identification readily available and remain in their vehicle at all times. Items should be placed in the back of the vehicle, from where they will be removed by workers.
