Hit-And-Run DUI Atop Wilton Police Blotter For July 25 - Aug. 1

WILTON, CT — A hit-and-run driver was atop the Wilton Police Department blotter for the week

On Aug. 29, the Wilton Police Department received a 911 call from a motorist complaining her vehicle had been hit by another car on Range Road, which had then fled the scene.

Police report they saw the black 2011 Range Rover with damage consistent with the hit-and-run complaint entering the wrong lane of traffic on Danbury Road in the area of Old Highway, and pulled it over.

The driver, Liana Dickman, 64, of Ledgewood Drive in Wilton, had alcohol on her breath, and did not perform the standardized field sobriety tests to standard, according to police.

At Wilton Police Headquarters, the motorist refused chemical testing, and was charged with failure to drive right, evading responsibility with property damage, and failure to drive in lane. She was scheduled to appear in Stamford Superior Court on Sept. 12.
