InThai in Norwalk Rated 'Good' by New York Times

At InThai, 456 Main Ave in Norwalk, delicious Thai food is priced modestly. The restaurant offers take-out and delivery, but also takes reservations.

In Thai restaurant has been open for three years, but Patricia Brooks'Β recent New York TimesΒ reviewΒ designation "Good"Β has given the restaurant a boost. So much so, that one waitress said thatΒ the line for takeout at lunchtime is out the door, especially on Fridays.

However, the restaurant does take reservations and make deliveries. Plus,Β it is possible to call in orders over the phone, or go to the website and click "Order Online."

The restaurant, located in mallΒ strip near the Merritt 7 complex, isΒ not far from the Wilton line. InThai daily lunch specials,Β served with choice ofΒ Tom Yum soup or House Salad, rangeΒ from justΒ $8.25 to $10.25,Β and are offered from Monday to Saturday from 11:00a.m. to 3:00p.m.Β 

Patch ordered the crispy pad thai and yellow curry with mixed seafood and requested "medium spicy," whichΒ had just enough bite. The mealΒ came with a choice of brown or white rice.Β 

According to the website, allΒ sauces, soups, appetizers and desserts are "home recipes and prepared in our kitchen. All of the meats and vegetables we use in our dishes are hand selected by us. They are purchased fresh and whole and cut on site. To insure quality, freshness, and flavor, all of our meals are cooked to order."
