July 4th Fireworks 2023 Around Wilton

WILTON, CT — Independence Day is quickly approaching, which means it's time to fire up that barbecue and find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on in and around Wilton for 2023.

We gathered up all the fireworks shows and festivals happening in and around Wilton so you can start planning now.

Wilton’s Independence Day celebration will be held Tuesday, July 4 at the Wilton High School Complex at 395 Danbury Road.

Festivities will begin at 8:30 a.m. with the Freedom Run 5K Road Race, at the WHS Track. Race cost is $20 per adult and $10 per child (18 and under). All participants will receive a race t-shirt. Race registration can be completed through the Parks and Recreation Online Registration System.

Music provided by a live DJ will commence at 5:00 p.m., and the fireworks will kick off at sundown.

Parking passes for Route 7 Tennis Courts, Cider Mill School, Wilton Board of Education parking lot, and Lilly Way athletic fields may be purchased online for $35 per vehicle through the Parks and Recreation Online Registration System.

Passes can also be purchased at the Wilton Parks and Recreation Department office, 180 School Road. Passes will be available through Friday, June 30, and will not be available for purchase on the day of the event. Vehicles without a valid parking pass will not be allowed to park in any of the parking lots, even if space permits. Ancillary parking outside of the pre-paid parking lots will only be available on a first come, first served basis.

Rain date for the fireworks is July 5.
