Library, Youth Council To Host Wilton Volunteer Fair

Wilton Youth Council’s Mental Health Task Force invites you to join us at a Volunteer Fair on Saturday, September 21 from 11am - 2pm.

Please stop by the Brubeck Room to explore the many volunteer opportunities that are available through organizations in Wilton for all ages. Plus enjoy College Creamery, as well as live music by Present Company!

While many of Wilton’s organizations benefit from and are run by volunteers, we also recognize the health benefits that volunteering brings individuals. Volunteering is shown to improve both physical and mental health and also bring a sense of belonging while building community relationships for volunteers. Further, we recognize that many adults are struggling to build community connections – volunteering is an excellent way to foster and build these relationships.
