Lodging Business Among 31 New Businesses Registered In Wilton In August

WILTON, CT — Wilton recorded 31 new business registrations in August, according to the Connecticut Business Registry. Software and IT firms led the way with five filings, followed by residential landlords and management consultants.

Hitching Post Country Motel was one of the more distinctive filings — a lodging business — joined by QiQuipment, a fitness business and ATHX Games North America Ltd, a performing-arts business. All but two organized as limited liability companies; the exceptions were a corporation and one other entity.

Filing with the state and opening for business are separate steps, so some of these companies may not be serving customers yet. The full list, with addresses and business categories, is below.
