For 17 years Music On the Hill has offered a Summer Chorus to those in the area who love to sing, but whose choral "home" is on break for the summer. This year, the Summer Chorus continues its tradition by offering two works by Antonin Dvorak that are not frequently sung, but are gorgeous both to sing and to listen to: his Te Deum (Opus 103) and Mass in D (Opus 86). The gifted soloists and experienced choristers from across the region, along with strings, brass and timpani accompaniment, will be at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church in Wilton (36 New Canaan Rd) this Thursday July 25. Performance starts at 8PM, and light refreshments will be offered after the concert. Admission is free, although donations are much appreciated. Please enjoy this lovely musical experience.
