Man Arrested on Drug Charges: Police

WILTON, CT — Police arrested a New Fairfield man on drug charges after they pulled him over for reckless driving.

Shortly after 7 p.m. on Oct. 24, a Wilton Police officer observed a motor vehicle pass his location recklessly. After making calls out to other police on patrol and 911, the police were able to locate the motor vehicle, and stop it.

Officers discovered pills and THC oil inside the motor vehicle and on the driver, Isa Kurti, 30, of New Fairfield. He was placed under arrest and brought back to Wilton Police Headquarters, where he was was charged with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance, and reckless driving.

Kurti was released on a $2,500 bond and given a court date of Nov. 8.
