Massive Minks to Sinks Tag Sale Returns To Wilton

Thousands of items from children's toys to clothing, furniture to housewares, will be on sale, beginning Oct. 1.

WILTON, CT — Minks to Sinks, the massive semi-annual tag sale that benefits Family & Children’s Agency, returns to Wilton Oct. 1-3.

Thousands of items from children’s toys to clothing, furniture to housewares, will be on sale at 395 Danbury Road, corner of School Road and Route 7 near the Wilton High School tennis courts.

The sale has been running since 1931 and is organized by more than nearly 200 Wilton-area volunteers who set up, run, and clean up after the sale.

Proceeds benefit Family & Children's Agency, a Norwalk-based nonprofit providing social services for children, families, adults, and seniors.

This year, donation hours have been extended to allow residents more opportunity to donate items.

On-site consignment and donation hours:

  • Tuesday, Sept. 27, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Sept. 28, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and 4-7 p.m.
  • Thursday, Sept. 29, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Items go on sale Saturday, Oct. 1, and everything is half price on Sunday and Monday.

Sale hours:

  • Saturday, Oct. 1, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • Sunday, Oct. 2, 12-4 p.m.
  • Monday, Oct. 3, 9-11:30 a.m.
