Pulitzer Prize-winning author Alison Lurie will speak about her new book, “The Language of Houses: How Buildings Speak to Us” at a book event/fundraiser to help raise funds for The Sunshine Kids for children with cancer on September 22, from 7-9 p.m. at Branson Hall at Christ and Holy Trinity Church located at 75 Church Lane in Westport. The event is sponsored by Berkshire Hathaway Home Services/New England Properties in Westport and all proceeds go to The Sunshine Kids. To reserve tickets, call 203-227-5117. Tickets are $35 and are tax deductible donations. Free parking available.
