Music on the Hill Hosts Open House at WEPCO
The non-profit music organization moves in to its new Wilton home and invites the community to drop by on Saturday between 4 and 6 p.m.
Music on the hill is hosting an Open House at its newly established home at the Wilton Episcopal and Presbyterian Church Complex (WEPCO) at 48 New Canaan Road.
All are welcome to visit on Saturday, April 11, between 4 and 6 p.m. Enjoy refreshments, learn about music programs, and chat with the artistic directors and fellow music lovers.
Music on the Hill took up residence at WEPCO in February. Its office can be accessed from the rear of the complex, with parking in the small lot directly behind the red brick Presbyterian Church. Visitors are advised to “Park near the basketball hoop, then walk towards the playground.”

About Music on the Hill
Music on the Hill is in its fourth year offering music workshops, concerts, and four performing ensembles, all under the dynamic leadership of Artistic Directors David H. Connell, D.M.A., and Ellen Dickinson, M.M. (pictured).

Its ensembles include the area’s only community-based handbell choir (Jubilate Ringers) and three choral groups: the professional-level Chamber Chorus of 16 voices; the 40-voice Festival Chorus; and the 60-voice Summer Chorus. The groups perform concerts throughout Fairfield County, primarily in Wilton, Weston, and Westport.

“Shakespeare at the Library:” Chamber Chorus concert, part of the music series of the Pequot Library in Southport. Artistic Director David H. Connell will conduct the ensemble performing musical settings of Shakespeare’s sonnets and songs from the plays, as well as modern reinterpretations from such popular musicals as Bernstein’s West Side Story and Cole Porter’s Kiss Me, Kate. Celebrate May Day and “Brush Up Your Shakespeare” with an ensemble known for its impeccable performance.
