Music on the Hill Summer Chorus Performs Thursday
Music on the Hill's Summer Chorus is a 40-voice chorus comprised of singers from around the region.
WILTON, CT — Music on the Hill will present its 19th annual Summer Chorus on Thursday.
The Summer Chorus is a 40-voice chorus comprised of singers from around the region. The show will feature the Laurel String Quartet, performing "The Golden Harp," by Connecticut composer Gwyneth Walker," "The Sun Never Says" by Dan Forrest, and "Sacred Heart (Ubi Caritas III)" by Ola Gjeilo.
"The Golden Harp" features text by Rabindranath Tagore, from the poet's collection "Gitanjali." In 1913, Tagore won the Nobel Prize in literature for the English translation of the collection, the first non-European to win the award.

The performance will be held at The Little Theater at Wilton High School, 395 Danbury Road in Wilton on July 28 at 8 p.m. The suggested donation is $20, and masks are requested.
