"Music in Nature:" Chamber Chorus Concert
The change of season inspires this fall concert by the Music on the Hill Chamber Chorus. Artistic Director Ellen Dickinson conducts.

The Music on the Hill Chamber Chorus will perform “Music in Nature” with Artistic Director Ellen Dickinson, conductor, on Sunday, October 5, at 3:00 p.m. at the Unitarian Church in Westport.
This concert by the 16-voice professional ensemble features “Toward the Unknown Region,” a setting of Whitman poetry by composer Ralph Vaughan Williams. Other selections include an a capella “Shenandoah” and works by Randall Thompson, Sting, U2, and Ladysmith Black Mambazo.
The music’s nature theme finds its complement in the concert venue, a striking design by modernist architect Victor Lundy with glass walls overlooking woodland.
