Naked Man Jumps from Moving Truck, Seriously Injured, in Wilton
When the truck slowed down because the driver thought the naked man was a dead deer, the man leaped into the back of the pickup.
WILTON, CT — A naked man who jumped from a moving pickup truck Sunday has suffered life-threatening injuries, according to police.
The pickup driver, from Ridgefield, was driving his truck south on Danbury Road near the Days Inn when he slowed down to look at what he believed was a dead deer on the side of the road. It was in fact a naked man, John Rodas of New York, who leaped up and onto the flatbed of the moving truck.
The pickup driver called 911 and continued. Rodas jumped out of the truck while it was moving, in the area of 1039 Danbury Road.

Police responded to the call at 9:24. Rodas was transported to Danbury Hospital with life threatening injuries. The driver was released from the scene without charges.
The Wilton Police Departments is investigating the incident.
