New Details Emerge in Georgetown Bank Robbery: Police

Breaking: Wilton police are investigating a bank robbery at the Fairfield County Bank on Danbury Road.

WILTON, CT — New details have been released on the suspect who allegedly robbed the Fairfield County Bank on Danbury Road in the Georgetown area of Wilton Friday afternoon.

Police say that the suspect pictured above was driving a green 1997 Honda Accord and stands between five-feet-eight and five-feet-ten inches tall. Police say that no weapon was visible, and that the suspect left the bank with an unidentified amount of cash.

At 2:58 p.m. Friday, police received report of a robbery in progress and found that a man had robbed the Fairfield County Bank located at 941 Danbury Road. Police say the man entered the bank demanding cash.
