Obituary: Anna Margaret Lord, 86, Of Wilton

WILTON, CT — Anna Margaret Lord, age 86, widow of Alfred George Lord, passed away on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at Danbury Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Walter and Margaret Schuten Weigl.

Anna was born in Wilton and remained a lifelong resident as well as a lifelong member of Our Lady of Fatima Church. Survivors include a beloved daughter; Ann Smith and her husband Brian of Wilton, 1 brother; Walter ( Berta ) Weigl of Oxford, 3 sisters; Mary Guggeis of CA, Barbara Amundsen of SC and Elsie Duxbury of VA, 3 grandchildren, Krystle Bartek, Jeanette (Ron) Kurtz and Stephen Bartek, 3 great-grandchildren, Alfie, Arty and Kennedy and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Jean Bartek and a sister, Tina Polson.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, Aug. 9, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Bouton Funeral Home, 31 West Church St. Georgetown (Wilton). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 in Our Lady of Fatima Church, 229 Danbury Rd. Wilton. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Wilton.
