Obituary: Steven T. Ragonese, 66 of Wilton
Steve found his calling as the Superintendent of the Ogden House in Wilton where he considered the other staff and residents as friends.

WILTON, CT -- Steven T. Ragonese, 66 of Wilton and formerly of Fairfield, passed away on Saturday, June 23, 2018, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in the Bronx to the late Thomas and Margaret (Hunt) Ragonese, Steve was a father, a brother, an uncle, a cousin and a friend.
Steve enjoyed the simple things in life. He loved classic cars and classic rock and found happiness in nature and his many trips to the Caribbean, where he enjoyed snorkeling and lounging at the beach. A truly kind and good man, his humble presence and quiet companionship will be missed by those closest to him.
Steve, a true jack of all trades, found his calling as the Superintendent of the Ogden House in Wilton where he considered the other staff and residents as friends.

Steve is survived by his loving daughter and travel partner, Danielle Ragonese of Grass Valley, CA; his sister and protector, Linda Builter and her husband, Dean of Fairfield; his nephew, Justin Galletti and his fiancée, Alanna Mackey of Stamford; his cousin, Edward Bowman and his wife, Charlotte of Milford; and many other close cousins and relatives with whom he always looked forward to spending time.
Friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Thomas Cemetery in Fairfield. Services have been entrusted to the Shaughnessey Banks Funeral Home in Fairfield.
