Our Lady of Fatima School Prayer Service

Our principal, Martha Reitman and our Pastor, Father Reginald Norman led the entire school in a prayer service. OLF music director, Lisa Strmecki led the student in a bell choir rendition of Let There Be Peace on Earth to begin the ceremony. Both Father Reggie and Ms. Reitman gave moving guidance to our students followed by a ringing of the bell for each of the eight victims from our school and parish. Those names are Edward Fergus, Peter Fry, John Henwood, John Iskyan, Farrell Lynch, Sean Lynch, Edward York, and Tyler Ugolyn. Tyler is a graduate of Our Lady of Fatima School. After 9/11, our annual basketball tournament was renamed in his honor. The students placed flowers and stones before the flagpole that was dedicated to Tyler.
